I created this for Running Backs, but have received a lot of requests to customize it for all offense, WR and even defense. If you’re interested let me know

“Get open and catch the ball”

Falcons WR coach Robert Prince here:

“That means a lot of different things to different people…”

Smaller receivers need more separation.

Taller receivers can use catch radius as separation…more physical WR’s are ok with DBs close-they can https://t.co/qLBOT9aiMU

“3 man Slant”

Love it.

And something you can add too…

after the catch, create a YAC drill by having another player act as a defender to evade or have him chase the receiver.

Versatility is the quality of being able to do many different things well or having many different uses. It often refers to a person's ability to adapt to various tasks or situations easily.

“You want these skills executed with a contrast in pacing — patience and suddenness. You want the footwork and hand counters to make sense for the route and coverage.”

Get your WR’s on the board.

Just like anything, you need to start slow. This can be stressful…as a player, I remember being a freshman early in camp and doing this in front of my older WR’s.

What I learned was how little some of my fellow freshmen knew but were embarrassed

Wide receiver coaches make great offensive coordinators. Don’t let people tell you otherwise. 🤲

Coach Shanahan @CoachShanahan_ was a big-body wideout at Pitt. Gives you a little insight on how he is able to coach up that back shoulder so well and how that WR corps was dialed in https://t.co/pUByYiPv3F

Coach Chad O’Shea talking double moves:

“His success on double move type routes is because he runs the first route really well.”
