Sochan, Olynyk and a first‑round pick might be the price to land Naz Reid in San Antonio. At least, that’s the latest buzz now that Minnesota sees itself as a legit Giannis contender. Reports say the Wolves want draft capital and moveable contracts, so flipping Reid’s long deal https://t.co/Xh97A7zPjO

They did this with the medical staff's blessing since the stinging sensation from the ammonia triggers the body’s "fight or flight" response and it releases a small burst of adrenaline. Their flight delay mental fatigue was probably harder to fight than their physical fatigue.

Former Spur Sidy Cissoko, who had been on a two-way deal, is now getting a standard NBA contract with the Trail Blazers.

This is the French Player the Spurs reportedly spoke to the Knicks about when they reportedly passed on a trade involving Jeremy Sochan for Gershon Yabusele. He worked out for the Spurs back before the 2024 draft but was correctly projected to be a 2nd round pick and did not want

Nothing confirmed but the Spurs might be cooking something up.

Sources say teams seeking cap relief have approached San Antonio about a possible trade involving the expiring deals of Kelly Olynyk and Jeremy Sochan, which together total just over $20.5M. That gives the Spurs the https://t.co/m6erobDT8n

Jose Alvarado is popping up in Spurs trade talk. His PESTY DEFENSE and knack for making plays would fit the Spurs’ identity and mesh with Wemby’s rim protection. He also shoots the three well enough (36%) to keep defenses honest. He'got a team friendly $4.5M per year contract and https://t.co/6tLuXdNzvZ

The Spurs are 4-8 vs teams with legit size up front. Sure, better FT shooting (19/32) and a few more threes (12/44) would’ve changed last night's Pelicans game- but the overall trend is hard to ignore. With several teams around the league looking to bulk up at the trade deadline https://t.co/I03kF9EggR

Bad news. Luke Kornet has been ruled OUT for tonight’s game against the Jazz after dealing with lingering tightness in his left adductor.
Apparently he has been “managing” the issue while still playing around 20 minutes a night but this will be his first game missed since https://t.co/bHOB13CSC3

I mentioned last week that for the first time in a long time the Spurs will be a sought after destination for buy-out vets looking for a good playoff run.

The talk around Khris Middleton possibly becoming a buyout candidate is interesting for Spurs fans because San Antonio keeps

Just dug up this archived gem of Devin Vassell on live saying folks kept pulling up in his chat talking about “this guy Victor.” 😂

Knowing what we know now about Wemby, this video appears to be the moment the torch was unofficially passed and we didn’t even know it yet. 👀🔥 https://t.co/nPIJj0xWxb

Continuing our look at the Spurs’ three-point shooting, it's interesting to find that Keldon Johnson currently leads the team in accuracy (41.3%) while playing primarily off the bench and providing a massive scoring punch for the second unit.

Me thinks Devin will play against the T-Wolves and the Spurs will finally win.
Minny and S.A. have met twice:

• Nov 30, 2025: T-Wolves beat the Spurs 125‑112 in Minneapolis

• Jan 11, 2026: T-Wolves narrowly won 104‑103 in Minnesota after the Spurs gave up a 19pt lead.

Surprisingly, Devin Vassell has emerged as one of the league's premier mid-range threats, currently ranking 10th in the NBA for the highest percentage of total points coming from the mid-range. In an era dominated by analytics-driven "rim or three" mentalities, Vassell is keeping https://t.co/SIVO1CR06n

I'll unpack this further later but for now I want to hear your thoughts.

This might look dire but this isn’t quite time to panic just yet. There are good reasons why the last 11 games have been harder for guys like Harrison Barnes, who’s slumping from three. What's your take? https://t.co/2Sx2VxQhWM

As I started to say in a tweet over the weekend, I think a big part of this is the absence of Devin Vassell. Before his injury on December 30, Vassell was the Spurs’ most reliable floor spacer. Defenders had to respect his shot out on the perimeter, which opened up lanes for guys

Word is the Spurs front office is staying patient amid recent trade chatter. This group has been overachieving despite nonstop injuries, and while the team loves its current core, they know they can make a move if the right one comes along. Also worth noting: for the first time

Some Spurs fans pushing the “trade Vassell” narrative might get triggered by this, but his absence has played a major role in the team’s recent shooting struggles and in overall offensive flow.

It’s not just about whether Devin would hit those missing shots himself, it’s about

Because next week's January 13 Spurs-Thunder matchup has now been flexed to a national broadcast, all eyes will be on who actually suits up.
If key players suddenly sit for “tactical reasons,” it could double as a challenge to the league’s TV partners, and a classic bit of https://t.co/tOE7oByxFj

The Spurs had a chance to bring in Yabusele right after the Paris Olympics by simply signing him when he wanted a chance to come back to the NBA, but they passed. Hard to see them flipping a young player they’ve poured so much into for a deal like this one proposed by Bobby Marks https://t.co/1DfsnIAUcd
