The right edge of the Vulture Stone, pt 2: Euphrates River, Khabur River, Lake Tharthar is the Hand, Al-Fallujah is the Cutoff Thumb, and Babylon is the 6-Legged Bug. One stone cat is the two famous Mesopotamia rivers, and their main tributaries are stripes.

Vulture Stone at Göbeklitepe, right edge, is Mesopotamia! The Tigris River and 3 main tributaries are flowing into Babylon as a Tiger. Roar! No shamans, giants, aliens, or constellations…just ancient people, land management, farming, and trade like today. Cheers!

The left edge of the Vulture Stone, D43 at Göbeklitepe: Khiam at the top, down through Dan & Hula Valley on the Jordan River snake to Galilee and Mount Meron.
That’s all it is. Geographic symbols. Nothing more, nothing less. Very good ones too. Cheers!

In the desert between ancient Jericho & Damascus, lies the Scorpion Mountains of As Suwayda as mapped on D43 at Göbeklitepe. There are 3 mounds at the head of the Scorpion matching 3 stars at the head of Scorpio. Early settlement and farming are found around these mountains too!

Ancient volcanic eruptions play a role in human history as well. Two of them are remembered at Göbeklitepe, and here is one: Karaca Dağ on H66. The ash cloud killed the Taurus/Bull Mountains, so they drilled a hole into a map to symbolize it.
Caveman simple…don’t overthink it :)

Ancient stories, myths, & legends of the Middle East are history baked into metaphors and found their way into European fairytales. Göbeklitepe was buried, but not forgotten!

Another ancient European tale with its roots at Göbeklitepe and Türkiye. The connections are frequent as the first king of Britain was from Troy. Fun!

After posting “Lascaux of Mongolia” yesterday (Khoid Tsenkher Cave, 20000BC), I found another secret, but modern map cave in Washington DC from WWII. Same Bull lands as Lascaux with France as the head.
Have maps, rule the world! Cheers.

Egypt and Türkiye have had Levantine relations for millennia. Early Egyptian gods, such as Ha and Hathor pictured here, are connected to Anatolia. Ancient symbols are land-related and practical as much as they are spiritual.

Follow-up post: The 3 mountainous sides around rectangular Harran are the Men of Tek Tek, Göbeklitepe, and Urfa. The settlements of Harran could see the Men, and the Men could see them back…and that is another ancient story.
Here are the brothers: Urfa & Tek Tek, West & East.

Ancient genital symbols have physical meaning and are not gratuitous as we see here on Tek Tek Man. Karahantepe is located at a peak. They were creating maps, subdividing lands, and educating the people. School! Where things are, who is in charge of what, and how everything

Follow-up post: 10000 years after mapping Africa & Europe in Altamira & Lascaux caves (and learning lessons about low elevation flooding,) an ark of maps was created outdoors on a peak overlooking Harran in the mountains of Ararat. Outdoor cave art…easier on the eyes & nose :)

Our most beautiful, protected, hidden, & enduring ancient cave art locations are map rooms or “libraries” and can help us find more.
“Where” is a huge part of animal communication: ants & bees use pheromones over their horizon, humans use maps. #Archaeology

Ancient surveyors, sailors, and travelers found many Bull shapes around the world. Each played a significant regional and cultural role…and gilding them later was a sign of status, wealth, and power, of course. Beautiful & practical work!

For my friends in Türkiye, I have found more on Tablet B10 at Göbeklitepe. He isn’t the only Wolf with more map info! She has a famous mountain up top & Syria below like him but on the other side of the Euphrates. Their noses touch at the River.
I’ll look for more before I post

The world is subdivided and “mapped” in various ways by the animals of our world. Scent is used by many, but humans use physical barriers and symbols. We didn’t define the territories for our ancestors, they defined them accurately with ancient tools and animal symbols. Cheers.

Hot off the press for my Asian friends and those studying the Great Wall of China: the Dragon IS the Wall! I had a hunch, took a look, and was greeted with flames right away. He asked “what took so long?” while I was taking his profile for the parade costume. I apologized. 😊

“One king to rule them all” I just had to put these two Hittite artifacts together as they go hand & glove!
Western Anatolia to Troy, and the “iron fist” of rule that kept industry/trade moving, and everyone in line.
A couple of my favorite discoveries…”my precious’s” :)

Hittite power! He kept the Kings in line by demanding tribute from their bounty for roads and protection.
