Monitoring the weather, especially Tropical weather. Not a pro met, but I have studied meteorology and followed the tropics for 30 years.

Community Rules

Be kind and respectful.

“All discussions must be respectful and kind, reflecting our Christian values. Avoid argumentation; focus on sharing weather insights and support.”

Keep posts on topic.

Wandering into other areas, especially those which can cause debate is to be discouraged. Stay on the OP (Original Post) topic, you can make your own later.

Explore and share.

This is a weather page; my Christian beliefs shape it, but no religious agenda—all are welcome.” Feel free to share and explore but please, stay on topic.

Absolutely no political debates.

Weather topics can be politicized: “The admin may share differing opinions on some views, labeled as such, not for debate, with both viewpoints noted briefly.”

Refer Serious Concerns to NHC, NOAA, NWS.

“I love meteorology but always defer major decisions to NHC, NOAA, or NWS advisories. Such professional guidance can save lives, and that is our #1 goal.

This Page *Strongly Urges* a weather radio, for ALL Hazards.

50+ yrs and 30+ tropical cyclones taught me weather radios can save lives. Get one with a hand crank & solar for outages and battery drains.

Any disagreements must be civil: both people and officials.

Disagreements happen, flaming an opposing viewpoint will not be tolerated. Let's all enjoy the page! Capice! ;)
