Started gradually migrating to @base_ui.

It's much more convenient to use render prop instead of asChild.

One level of nesting disappears, and the code looks much cleaner. https://t.co/xBbuaFDrAV

If a take-home needs state, APIs, and tests, is that still an interview or a side project?

Sonnet 5 might help write components, but rerenders still haunt us 😄 What part of React eats your time most?

If you build a React app without these components,
you are probably still on the login page 😄
• Button
• Input
• Modal
• Loader
• Toast

Anything missing?

Microsoft owns hardware. React owns re-renders.

With infra pressure rising, are you optimizing performance... or just hoping?

React remains central as AI speeds experimentation, helping developers focus more on product feel than boilerplate.

What keeps React your go-to choice for building interactive experiences today?

When components multiply, but state logic becomes spaghetti.

More hooks or clarity?

React Learning Posts

- React is not about components. It is about state and data flow.

- If you understand useState + useEffect, you are already ahead.

- Props go down, events go up.

- Stop overusing state derive when possible.

- Good React = clean components + predictable

Be aware that creating a new component creates a new abstraction. Abstraction have a cost, because more abstractions require more mental energy to switch back and forth between components. So try not to create new components too early.

As a CEO, React gives power and infinite choices.
Decision fatigue kills velocity quietly.
So tell me,
Are you shipping faster or endlessly refactoring happiness? 🔁

You moved fast.
Then hooks, patterns, and conversions multiplied.
AI helps, but React still rewards restraint.

What React "best practice" did you stop following for sanity?

one small thing i like in `@𝚛𝚋𝚊𝚌-𝚞𝚒/𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚝` is how access checks end up looking in real components

most permission logic starts scattered → a check here, another one somewhere else, and after a while you stop knowing where the rule actually lives

Just launched mapcn-rn – the @reactnative version of @sainianmol16's mapcn!
Beautiful, free & open-source map components powered by @maplibre (no API keys needed!)

Highlights:
- Styled with @nativewindcss
- Seamless with React Native Reusables
- Zero config & one-command
