HDR is something you keep experimenting with, but there can never be enough. Sometimes you might feel the brighter the better, sometimes you wonder why it's too damn bright. All devices behave so differently with HDR that creating a grade that looks good on all, seems impossible.

This is the last place I expected to support HDR video streaming, but amazon app (the main, shopping app) now supports HDR videos in their product demo videos.

Remember the 100nits HDR scam that Hotstar does? Seems like Netflix has started the same. Was checking out De De Pyaar De 2 on Netflix, available in Dolby Vision but is fake HDR. It’s just SDR grade thrown into an HDR container. Nothing above 100nits. See example from 12th fail. https://t.co/4OwYjwXeTQ
