interesting

The real problem with OpenClaw isn't the hype, it's the architecture

1. Find a bug.
2. Fix the bug.
3. 5 new bugs appear.
4. Question every life choice that led to this moment.

The circle of life for a backend dev is just one long game of Whac-A-Mole. No https://t.co/g9J9thoq6m

If you’re starting a new backend project today, are you reaching for Flask or Django?

Does the "batteries included" philosophy win, or do you prefer building the machine yourself? https://t.co/dJB05C6bFN

Clean code is fine, but readable code is a superpower.

If I have to spend twenty minutes deciphering your "clever" one-liner list comprehension, the logic is failed. Write backend code for the person who has to debug it at 3 AM, because that person will probably be you. https://t.co/wDAci9s0MP

I know "print()" is tempting when you're in the zone, but it’s a debt you’ll pay for in production.

Switch to the logging module today.
You get levels (INFO, WARN, ERROR), timestamps, and a trail that actually helps when things go sideways at 3 AM.

Your future self will thank https://t.co/ELwfaXiDaq

Due to some hardware challenges, I temporarily transitioned from programming into content creation 🤣.

I decided to explore YouTube and took it quite seriously. I’ve created several Shorts explaining programming concepts and sharing fun facts; however, I haven’t seen the level https://t.co/rkcmnaFxTM

I'll just refactor this one function real quick to make it more Pythonic.

Three hours later:
> 12 files changed
> The database connection is somehow broken
> I've discovered a bug from 2022
> I’m now questioning the entire architecture of the app

The refactoring spiral is a https://t.co/9n9f0wGVMe

The dynamic attribute tax of Python, the cost of having flexible dictionary-backed runtime objects over static structs, fell 75% between Python 3.4 and 3.14.

Writing Django models doesn’t change your database.

Migrations are the missing step most beginners overlook.
They turn model definitions into real tables, safely, consistently, and without manual SQL.

This is why Django scales beyond toy projects.

Most beginners underestimate Django Admin.

It’s not “just a dashboard.”
It’s Django showing you how much work a framework should remove after you define your data correctly.

If you understand why this exists, Week 2 will make a lot more sense.

I took a little break recently and made this simple countdown function to get back into it. What do y'all think?
